Palazzo Angelelli-Dolce is one of the most impressive palaces of Galatina equipped with a second floor. Was built in the off of Santa Caterina between 1803 and 1806 by Domenico Angelelli rich landowner and merchant of Galatina.
This palace is an iexample of rococo style with neoclassical inflections already present in Galatina in other important buildings. In the 20th century Palazzo Angelelli passed to the Dolce family.
The current owners have recently carried out important renovations of the building which, however, do not seem to have been completed in order to bring the structure to its original splendor. Today the building is uninhabited.
