The weapon sculpted in key to the Catalan-Durazzesco portal shows that since the 16th century this building belonged to the Mongiò dei Gigli family and for this reason it can be assumed that it was their original residence.
The portal leads to the courtyard where the service areas are located and to the right, through an exposed staircase leads to the upper floors. The whole side of the building, to the right of the portal, would seem to have been built in the 18th century.
A characteristic of this building is that of having engraved Latin inscriptions on all the architraves present in the doors or windows in the elevation.
