On the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the ethnographic expedition in Salento led by Ernesto de Martino and the publication of his work Sud e magia, the Galatina Club for UNESCO organized in collaboration with DICEM, the SAGE Magistral Studies Course and the UNESCO Chair "Cultural landscapes of the Mediterranean and the Knowledge Community" of the University of Basilicata; as well as with the Institute of Demo-ethno-anthropological Disciplines of the University of Salento; and with the collaboration of the Club for UNESCO del Vulture and the Organizing Committee of the UNESCO Club of Matera, organizes a Study Conference on the theme "Ernesto de Martino and the folklore" which will take place in two days, the 24th and June 25, the first in Matera, the second in Galatina.
