There are two objectives that our initiative aims to achieve:
Ecological goal - Educational: the collection of corks is a means that contributes to educating the problem of recycling and proper separate collection;
Solidarity objective: our initiative, totally non-profit, will allow us to carry out, with a tiny gesture, various solidarity initiatives.
To achieve our goal and to get as close as possible to the people, it is the intention of this Association, in collaboration with the Association -Quelli di Piazza San Pietro-, to organize an awareness-raising day: the I ^ Ed. Of the "Virtus" event Day - RicicliAMO lo Sport ": a celebration of sports, recycling, children's entertainment and solidarity ...
It will be a day entirely dedicated to the sport and the disciplines that make up the sports scene of the City of Galatina; in fact, a program full of initiatives and exhibitions is planned by the participating sports associations.
Opening of the stands, demonstrations and free trials will therefore be possible until the closing of the event, scheduled for 1.00 pm. The opportunity will also be valuable to provide information on the project - AppiAmo Galatina-; a collection point for caps will be provided.
In addition, during the event, a banquet will be set up to promote Easter Eggs of the Parents Oncology-Hematology Pediatric Association - For a Smile - Onlus of Lecce, which works in permanent and global support of the Pediatric Hospital Oncohaematology Department V.Fazzi di Lecce and in support of families in difficulty affected by cases of cancer or childhood leukemia. It will be an opportunity to give a sweet moment of solidarity and help support the projects of the Association in favor of Pediatric Oncology in our area.
